Goose Feet #WordlessWednesday

Near where we do our neighborhood walking is a small park that is on a low piece of ground near a river.  There is a small walking trail there. Canada geese love to congregate on and near the path.

They left footprints in the melting snow.

Today we may be having a snowstorm, just three days after temperatures near 70 degrees F (21 C). We are under a winter weather advisory.

The geese may disappear, but they will be back, footprints and all

  2. Sadly, we have the geese all over the place and not just their footprints. They are pretty but such mean and messy creatures.

  5. Aw, what a great shot. They are messy little buggers, but most interesting to watch. Lovely capture.

  6. I like that very much! We have Canada geese at the park, but no prints, just poo. Big poo. Certain dogs I know try to eat it.

  7. At least you didn't find other "offerings" of the geese. We have a bunch that have moved into our complex, and they're leaving a bit of a mess.

  8. Geese … we have a local population that does not migrate and we’re a big stop for the ones that do migrate.
