Gardens and Gettysburg Skies #AtoZChallenge #SkywatchFriday

I can't believe the week has rolled on by and it's Friday.  It's time for me to join Yogi and other skywatchers at Skywatch Friday, and it's also G day on the Blogging from A to Z Challenge.

Today, we travel to several venues to look at Gardens and skies.

We'll start and end in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.

Let's make a little detour to my home in the Southern Tier of New York State, where the crocus are blooming right now.

Now, onward to Florida.

Delray Beach, Florida, and Morikami Park in Delray Beach in January of 2019.  This park has a fascinating history.

Skies over Marie Selby Botanical Gardens in Sarasota, Florida, January 2020.

This, and the next one are from Cutler Botanic Garden, Binghamton, New York (obviously, not taken recently.)

More Cutler.

Azalea/Rhodedendron Garden at Cornell Botanic Gardens, Ithaca, New York.

Now, it's time to return to Gettysburg.

Eisenhower Farm, Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.  I think that's a black vulture in the middle of the picture.

Silo at Eisenhower farm.

One more Gettysburg sky before we leave.

But we'll be back tomorrow.

"G" day in the Blogging from A to Z Challenge.  My theme:   "From Florida to Vermont With Stops In Between".

  9. I have always like botanical gardens. We don't have any here, but we used to go to Tilden a lot, and there's a nice one there. That may be the only thing I miss having moved from CA. Not the botanical garden, but the entire regional park.

  11. ...I remember when the Cornell Botanic Gardens was known as Cornell Plantations, the term plantation has fallen out of favor.
