Misty Morning Skies #SkywatchFriday

We wouldn't have been up this early the morning of September 1 except for a meeting that was scheduled in early morning, but, for whatever reason, the other person didn't show up.  Now what?

Otsiningo Park was only a couple of miles away, so we decided to visit our community garden and take a walk afterwards.

We were greeted with mists partially covering the hills along I-81.

The mist hung over the hills, contrasting with blue skies.

More mist and clouds.

I love the blue skies of early September.

On our walk in the main part of the park, along the Chenango River, you can barely see more mist rising from the river.

One more picture before we go.  The mist is a little more visible here, on the right side of the picture.

Joining Yogi and other skywatchers each Friday for #SkywatchFriday.

  3. You do have a lot of pretty waterways and walks around you. Sorry you got up and out early for no reason, but it turned out for a good reason after all.

  7. It was good you made lemonade instead of fretting over a missed meeting. Photographs are quite lovely.

  10. I'm torn about the September mists. They are lovely and I do enjoy seeing them. But they mean winter is coming. Summer is over. Sigh.
