Early Hanukkah #MusicMovesMe

It's Monday and time for music.

Who are the Music Moves Me bloggers? We are bloggers who blog about music each Sunday or Monday and if you have music to share with us, you are most welcome to join! (Music Posts Only-meaning at least one music video, please!)   Our head hostess is Cathy from Curious as a Cathy,  and she is joined by the knowledgeable Stacy of Stacy Uncorked and (last but not least) me.

Why not join our music loving folks?  It's so easy. All you have to do is join the linky above with a music post that contains at least one music video.  If there is no music video, the post may be removed, or may be labeled *NO MUSIC*.

Each month, we have a guest host.  For December, our honorary host is Santa Claus.  Santa asks us to post holiday music so we can all dance and have a good time.

I promised some Hanukkah songs for today, but I checked the websites of the Maccabeats and Six-13, two groups I like to feature for my Hanukkah music posts.  However, neither have released their Hanukkah songs yet, as far as I can tell.  They will probably release them shortly, so today, I'll go with some other selections.

Most of these are not traditional Hanukkah songs, but I thought you would enjoy this mix of educational songs, modern Hanukkah songs, and parody songs.

Are you familiar with Sesame Street?  I'll bet you've never seen Sesame Street quite like this.  Shalom Sesame and the Missing Menorah.

Six13-A Star Wars Chanukah.  Six-13 is an all-male Jewish a capella group known for their parody songs.  Here, their subject of parody is Star Wars.

The Maccabeats, singing the traditional song  I Have a Little Dreidel.  The Maccabeats are another Jewish a capella group.

I don't often feature rap songs but I love the following two songs.  First, let's enjoy this remix of Adam Sandlers Hanukkah songs:  I bring you The Hanukkah Song 2.0 from Nissim Black and Kosha Dillz.

Daveed Diggs and Puppy for Hanukkah.

I saved the best for last.  Six13 and Bohemian Chanukah.  A masterpiece that I think Freddy Mercury would give his stamp of approval to.

That's a wrap!

Join me again next week, for more Music Moves Me.
