Manchester Center, Vermont, August of 2022.
Manchester Center is a beautiful small town of about 4,000 people. Now, much of Vermont is trying to recover from historic floods. Like so much of Vermont, this town was under a flood warning yesterday mornng. Much of the damage was north of Manchester Center. The capital of this small state, Montpelier, is flooded.
Meanwhile, much of several southern states bake.
Weather gone wild.

The weather is very cruel these days, feast or famine it seems like. It is really scary.

ReplyDeleteMy son was under a flood warning in RI, but he said the rain was, thankfully, "normal." What I see in that photo is the parking, and now I remember how much nicer that was than parallel parking, which is all I've seen in years. I hate it!

We had terrible floods here - I packed up all these books for the library and clothes and toys for people collecting them and posted them off. Not 4 months later, it happened again. It must be exhausting for people.

ReplyDeleteWe had a tornado watch today, but nothing! Thank the Lord. I did a Wordless Wednesday, but you can't leave a message for some reason. I'm telling you this computer hates me. Sure wish I knew what I can do about it. :( Especially before Monday! OUCH!
