Storms spared where I live, for the most part. We did get some rain, but that's about it.
My heart goes out to all those impacted by our weather recently, including the people of the island of Maui, an island swept by out of control fires fanned by a hurricane hundreds of miles away.
It was interesting watching our sky, though. August 9, local park.
This time, once I got clear of the power lines. It started to rain not long after.
August 10 after a drizzly rain and before another drizzly rain.
These last two pictures were taken over our community garden plot.
...I love a blue sky, but clouds add interest!
ReplyDeleteVery dramatic skies
ReplyDeleteGreat photo of the sky. My heart also goes out those on Maui.
ReplyDeleteCoffee is on, and stay safe.
Rain? How exciting! We haven't had a drop all summer. That last photo is very dramatic.
ReplyDeleteGreat clouds.
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful and atmospheric
ReplyDeleteThat's a wild looking sky. Beautiful and dramatic!
ReplyDeleteThe clouds are incredible
ReplyDeleteThose clouds seem to be telling a story, and it's an angry one.

I love your dramatic skies.
ReplyDeleteI just cannot get my head around what happened in Maui. People died in their cars in the street. Just horrific.
We got the heavy storm last night. Thunder and lightning like a fireworks display. Unbelievable. Went on for almost two hours.
ReplyDeleteNice shots.
ReplyDeleteThere have been many interesting skyscapes this summer, but also too many days when the sky was just flat gray from wildfire smoke.
