Summer Ramblings - The Bright Colors of Summer

Today, please enjoy some of the bright colors of summer in an almost wordless post.

Coneflowers, Binghamton, New York.
More coneflowers.
Volunteer petunias, Broome County Courthouse, Binghamton

Iresine at sunset, my house.
My pansies (still alive!) at sunset.

And finally, a trumpet vine, Binghamton, New York.

  6. This has been one of the prettiest and brightest summers I can remember. Perhaps it was the long and icy winter that sharpened my appreciation for all the vivid colors. Beautiful photos and colors. I am loving the Rose of Sharon blossoms this year, they are bee magnets! Wishing you a peace filled week.

  10. Love those colors! My favorite summer flower is probably the zinnia or the sunflower, simply because they are so attractive to butterflies and bees.
