Welcome! I hope I bring a spot of calm and happiness into these uncertain times. I blog about flowers, gardening, my photography adventures, the importance of chocolate in a well lived life, or anything else on my mind.

Skywatch Friday - Mountain Clouds
The first part of this week was foggy and then rainy, and I despaired of every seeing blue sky where I was visiting. But finally, the clouds started to break up.
First, this.
Then, the mountains appeared.
Still later, a golden sunset reflects against a "Gold's Gym".
Finally, Thursday, I said goodbye to Central Virginia and returned to my home in upstate New York.
Back to the gloom.
Thank you to #SkywatchFriday for hosting this weekly meme. Please visit others posting their pictures of the sky.

ReplyDeleteVery dramatic skies in your first two shots!
ReplyDeleteYou should have stopped by!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photographs of the sky. Although it is more fun to have a bright blue sky, these arrays of thick clouds are very appealing to look at and would make gorgeous paintings.
ReplyDeleteThe vivid blue and golden orange streaks sky is a wonderful mood booster, isn't it? And, it makes for a great Skywatch Friday share. Of course varying weather conditions make interesting shots so I'm eager to see the world around me when it's sunny or gray! I'm eager to day to the mountains. I hope it's not too cold next Saturday and maybe we can do that. Thanks for sharing and visiting. Have a good weekend!
ReplyDeleteNeat Skywatch photos! Enjoyed all of these. Thanks for sharing.
