ReplyDeleteWe have colour! After a couple of snowstorms that turned my (should-be-turning-brilliant-red) vines into cooked spinach, the hardier trees are suffused with yellow and gold. Yay! We didn't totally miss out!

ReplyDeleteThis is my favorite time of year. I love when the colors of the trees brighten up my neighborhood. With the weather being so warm , I hope all the leaves aren't on the ground before they change color.

ReplyDeleteThe tree shuts down the food supply to the leaves and they suffer no harm. The leaves look so colourful and pretty.
