Welcome! I hope I bring a spot of calm and happiness into these uncertain times. I blog about flowers, gardening, my photography adventures, the importance of chocolate in a well lived life, or anything else on my mind.

The Backyard - #ThursdayTreeLove
Trees coated in snow - so pretty, and so hazardous. We were not impacted greatly by the snowstorm yesterday - this is a picture from Friday's snowstorm.
Just the day before, it was warm, and winter seemed so far away. But nature has a way of reminding us who is in charge, and it isn't us.

I’m in your neck of the woods these days and experiencing my very first real snow . Wonder how the trees can bear it
ReplyDeleteLooks like you were just west enough to be spared the brunt.
ReplyDeleteGlad the storm didn't hit you too badly. Hopefully this will be the last hurrah of winter for you all.
ReplyDeleteCaught the snowstorm on the news today morning. It looked pretty scary. Glad to know that you were not much affected.
ReplyDeleteThe picture looks perfect, though!
Stay safe and warm!
They were talking about the snow this morning and I was thinking of you!
ReplyDeleteThat's so true.. Nature is the boss!! I love the way the snow has mimicked the outlines of the hedge..
ReplyDeleteI loved how you made that statement about Nature. Something we can't even deny. What a beauty! Thank you for joining and for your unflinching support.
