Today, please enjoy this small grove in a peaceful grove near Lake Erie, in a town called North East, Pennsylvania, in the northeastern United States about a five hour drive from where I live.
Doesn't it say "come here and sit a spell?"
Green leaves...water gently flowing over a small waterfall...what more would you want?
Where I live, fall is finally here. The last of our hot weather is past.
Because of all our rain, things are greener than they should be, but in October, I hope to bring you some fall foliage.

Alana,
ReplyDeleteThis reminds me of the picnic grounds near the entrance to Cades Cove in the Smoky's. You can see my picture, here, if you want. There's a beautiful little creek for picnickers or nearby campers to dip their toes in the chilly mountain water on hot summer days but what I like about is is the tranquility it brings to the soul. Thanks for the share and yes, this spot does speak, come sit a spell! ;)
That is a lovely spot.
ReplyDeleteIt does, indeed! It would be the perfect place to sit and read or dream or write or paint for a while.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a peaceful place, calm and serene background, nice to walk around and reflect deeply on life:)
ReplyDeleteI would love to sit and read here. Maybe grab a cup of tea and listen to the birds chirping and squirrels playing. I would love to see the fall colors. That is something I don't see here in India.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Alana for bring beautiful trees to the blog hop. I am always happy to have you join.
A lovely place to sit and read a beautiful book. I love the spread of the branches and the shade that sweeps the ground below
ReplyDeleteLovely place for family picnic! Calm and green!
