Our winter in the Southern Tier of New York has been so up and down.
Ice on the river.
Snow (that's not fog; it's snow)
Record highs (that white is water going over a dam).
Reflections and a clear blue sky.
We are waiting for spring. Waiting....so impatiently waiting. The birds are singing. The willows are turning yellowish. Some buds are visible on trees in my neighborhood.
We do love New York, don't we? Yes, our classic cloudy overcast winter sky and all.

Welcome! I hope I bring a spot of calm and happiness into these uncertain times. I blog about flowers, gardening, my photography adventures, the importance of chocolate in a well lived life, or anything else on my mind.

Very nice views, so enjoyable!
ReplyDeleteWe've had the ups and downs of the temperature charts, too. Most disconcerting when we anticipate the onset of Spring.
ReplyDeleteNice photos, but so cold...I’m waiting for spring
ReplyDeleteWe haven't had a lot of snow all at once for the last few years but this year we do have mounds of it along the roads and driveways. I realize that I'd forgotten how pretty that looks.
ReplyDeleteA changing sky-scape. Spring will be here soon.
