No Superstition Sky #SkywatchFriday

It's Friday and it's time to watch the sky where I live in upstate New York.

Hoping the snow is gone for good, but you can never tell at this time of year.

But the first work day of Daylight Saving time brought me back to being able to see the sunrise. First, the stage has to be set.
We have our famous cloud cover.

Not epic sunrise, but sunrise.

And then, a few minutes later, where I work in downtown Binghamton, New York.

It's Friday the 13th but I am hoping for a good day.  Our country needs one.

  1. I am trying to keep everything as normal as possible ...but nothing is normal right now.

At least the sun still rises in the east and sets in the west.

  2. Very nice! Here in Hornell, it is raining...another dreary, "blue tint" day. I say blue tint, because it seems that way (the sky), smiles.

  6. Yeah, the time change has made it so I'm getting to work before sunrise. Sigh. That's the thing I dislike the most about it.
