The Grace of Daylilies #WordlessWednesday

Last week, I mentioned a daylily garden/nursery in Penn Yan, New York (in the Finger Lakes region) called Grace Gardens.  I have several day lilies I bought from them between 2018 and 2019, and they are in bloom now.

Enjoy!  The names of these are lost in the mists of my mind and my awful (correction, nonexistent) record keeping but I think I've seen one of them in a day lily display garden at our local botanical gardens.  Maybe I should start with that one.

The lily on top "may" be a short, double variety called Bubbly.

A red daylily.
A beautiful pink.
Lavender.

And one I may have had on my blog before, orange.

Now, I have other day lilies to show you, but they will have to wait for another day.

  2. My memory is a little misty, too. When people ask me to identify my flowers, I'm often reduced to, 'pretty purple flower,' low-growing red blossoms,' 'late-blooming tall yellow flower.' I do know my day-lilies, my garden flock, and my Black-eyed Susans.
