Vestal Story Garden #WordlessWednesday

We are fortunate enough to have several local libraries where I live in the Southern Tier of New York.

One has an actual garden.  This one, in the front, has a number of flower plantings and, now, a reading garden with outdoor seating.

Welcome to the Vestal Public Library Reading Garden.

Now, don't be chicken.

You've got mail?

Cute art and it doesn't bug me at all.

Now, that's my kind of mailbox.

Proud.

The garden is just a bit worn out from its summer's work, but the mailbox is still blooming.

(Just one tiny sour note: painted rocks, which, if they weren't painted with eco-friendly paint, can be a problem outside. There were a number of them here and there. End of short rant.)

Joining Sandee at Comedy Plus for her #WordlessWednesday.

  1. What a fun place!! If I lived in the area and had young kids, it would be a favorite hangout of ours! Have a great Wednesday!

  7. Very cute!
Thank you for mentioning the painted rocks. It's a touchy subject to some, as one of the comments in your linked article shows! I wrote a blog post last September about this.

  10. Love it, the only thing better than having time to read is being able to read in a beautiful environment.
