Beast Mode #ShadowshotSunday

 Today was the annual (except during the pandemic) Binghamton (New York) Bridge Run.  I don't run but we decided to take a walk (long after the race was done) in one of the run neighborhoods this afternoon because the spring foliage is so pretty.

There were a couple of turning signs I saw, with affirmations to motivate the runners.

 This one says "Beast Mode" and it has my shadow in it.  It made for an interesting contrast.  What if there was a real beast going after the runners?  Now, that would be motivation.

So I'll show you the other one.  "I Will".   As in "I will escape the beast!"

    I'm not sure why, but the phrase "beast mode" sets my teeth on edge. I guess that's a thing now.
