It's June already, and almost time for summer. We had some good sunset opportunities at the end of May, although I chose not to take advantage of some of them. But this one, I did.
Here are some views of our sunset from May 29.
Let's go down to the local park and take a look.
Looks promising.
Spouse and I wait patiently.
I zoom in. (That little blog in the low center is water).
Last view. After I got home, I was a little surprised - I thought I had taken more pictures but this is where the story ends.
The warm weather did come, by the way. It reached 91F (32.8C) yesterday. Today, it's supposed to be warmer, and I'm thinking of our Canadian friends in Nova Scotia and their terrible fires.

...with high temps in early June, we might have fires this summer too.
ReplyDeleteWe’re expecting temperatures in the 90’s today but in the 60’s tomorrow. And we’re getting a bit of haze from those terrible fires up north.
ReplyDeleteIf we just remember to take a look, the amazing is right there.
ReplyDeleteThat orange is exquisite.
ReplyDeleteThey were saying last night that the haze you could see over the Red Sox game was from those fires in Canada. My thoughts are with those Canadian citizens too.
Beautiful pictures.
ReplyDeleteI love it when you do sequences of the sunset. Looks like a great one you had!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!
ReplyDeleteAt first glimpse I thought, "Gosh! Alana has my photos!" The sky and tree-line at the farm look a lot like this. Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! Yes, my sister is right in the middle of those fires. Prayers continuing!
ReplyDeletebeautiful colors
ReplyDeleteWow, you captured some beauties! Gorgeous sky colors.
ReplyDeleteYikes, that's hot. We're still in gloom as is normal this time of year. I kind of miss the sun.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sunset photos!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend!
Lovely shots! It is disconcerting when I hear that our sunsets in Virginia will be spectacular because of fires in Canada. I remember this also happened when there were huge fires out west. Sigh!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous sunset photos ~ Wow!
