Skies from the end of October and beginning of November in the Southern Tier of New York. This is the transition from fall to winter.
Skies peeking out from yellowing up maples October 25.
These trees are mainly bare now.
After sunset October 28, as we came home from a party.
Clouds gathering around 8am on November 1. I was trying to get a shot of sunrays through the clouds but I didn't succeed.
Nature changed its mood again the afternoon of November 2.
Don't forget, we in the United States who have Daylight Saving Time, to set our clocks back before 2am Sunday.

ReplyDeleteYou said a bad word … snow
ReplyDeleteWe haven't yet had the winter type weather you had, but we definitely have those grim skies.
ReplyDeleteThe combination of gray skies and limited daylight in November and December sometimes wears on me. I live for those morning with bright, blinding sun rising in the east and sit in it every November/December morning it offers itself.
ReplyDeleteI love this time of year and one of the reasons is the sky which never seems so blue as now with wispy white clouds occasionally floating by. That is, of course, in every year when we don't have hurricanes in the Gulf!
ReplyDeleteThis has been a particularly beautiful fall in Connecticut. Looks the same for your neck of the woods, even though it's ending.
ReplyDeletePretty night photo and gorgeous skies. Some very nice fall color!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful skies.
ReplyDeleteThe sky looks so pretty through the trees.
The trees and the sky compliment each other well
ReplyDeleteLovely sky and tree photos ~

ReplyDeleteThe sky has many moods.
ReplyDeleteIt is almost 3 A.M. here. When I am finished making comments I will go downstairs and change the clocks one hour. mmmmm it will be 2 A.M. instead.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and glorious sky images, love it.

ReplyDeleteWe are almost at the peak of color for certain trees in Oklahoma. Some of them are already starting to snow their leaves down in the wind and the wind always blows here.
