In August of 2017, my spouse, son, and I were in Columbia, South Carolina to watch a total eclipse of the sun.
We had no idea what a Freakshake was. It's too bad we didn't check it out.Turns out it had nothing to do with a freak out (panic) over the total eclipse.
Rather it is a dessert item you have to see to believe. (click the link for an article on them)
I do wonder what they did for a total eclipse, though. I'll probably never know. But this article wrote more about the delicacies various restaurants served up for the 2017 eclipse.

Eclipse fever …
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous dessert! A very science fiction look!
ReplyDeleteHappy WW and a fine week!❤️😘
...I am passionate about lots of things, but this isn't one of them.
ReplyDeleteI have no idea how you could possibly eat one of those!

What Tom said. I'd rather have dessert.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. ♥
Mom would love something like this, she used to love desserts but since she gave up sugar and processed foods, she doesn't eat that kind of thing anymore. It is a fun idea to drum up some business for something unusual.
ReplyDeleteWow. Now that's a dessert!
ReplyDeleteFunny! A Freakshake would be more apt for an earthquake. Only, we don't know when those are coming. At least in time to plan a menu. In CA I knew when one was coming because my dog then would start acting weird (weirder than her usual Border collie/Heeler weirdness). "Anna's acting weird, there's gonna be an earthquake!"
ReplyDeleteGood grief! I could never eat all that. I would probably go for the alcoholic milk shake instead.
ReplyDeleteFreakshake is a new term for me.
ReplyDeleteWill you be in the path of the next one? Sadly, it'll miss us entirely. Sigh.
