Tea Time #WordlessWednesday

It's time for tea at Your Home Library in Johnson City, New York.

For the second straight year, it's time for tea at Your Home Library in Johnson City, New York.  The drawers that once stored catalogs now store giveaway seeds in the spring and tea and cocoa in the fall.

Once again, the teas mainly come from Harney and Sons, a New York State tea company headquartered in a small town of about 1000 people.

Time for tea, and time to support your local library by enjoying one of their programs.

  4. This post made me think about all the trips my son and I took to the library so he could do research for homework. Fond memories. Thank you for that. I remember those card catalogs too.

  8. It's a lovely card catalog, wouldn't it be lovely in a home? I'd like it! Oh, the things I could store! Seeds I can see giving away, but tea is something I'd like out of a sealed box or from someone I know.

  9. It amazes me what offerings some libraries have. Back in March, we had people running for city council. I read their platforms. One guy talked about charging people for library use. Needless to say, I did not vote for him. And I made sure to let others know that that was part of his platform.
