On a recent visit to the small town of Owego, New York, a friend and I ate at a diner which recently celebrated its 100th anniversary.
It's a small place, but it's everything you want a small town diner to be.
Not only that, but the sports memorabilia that line the walls of this small gem makes it even more special. A lot of it is devoted to baseball, especially the New York Yankees.
Hard to see because of how I took the pictures, but much of this (not all) is devoted to the New York Yankees. If you are wondering why no pictures of the exterior, it was quite cold outside.)

I like this kind of places, from my perspective full of good vibes.
ReplyDeleteI think it was a very pleasant moment for you and your friend.
All the best and Happy WW, Alana!❤️😘
...this is no time for exteriors pictures!!!
ReplyDeleteNot many diners can boast they've lasted 100 years! Looks like an interesting place. Stay warm!
ReplyDeleteGo to the article if you want to see the exterior.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a fun spot. I love baseball and I’d be thrilled to see the memorabilia
Nothing beats a good diner. We have one here we visit often. Would love to visit this one.

It's good to have engaging decor to accompany good company and good food.
ReplyDeleteLove those Yankee pictures. As one who grew up as a Yankee fan in the Mickey Mantle era, I can even recognize some of them.
ReplyDeleteWonderful diner photos and congrats to 100 years ~ Wow!
