Lakes #AtoZChallenge #SkywatchFriday

Growing up in New York City, I wanted to go to the Finger Lakes one day.

I never dreamed that I would live, one day, an hour or so from the Finger Lakes.  What a beautiful area it is, and the skies and water will captivate you.
From a sunset on Canandaigua Lake, in Canandaigua...

...to boats on Cayuga Lake, in Ithaca, in early May...
to Seneca Lake, and  parasailing in Geneva in early fall....
To another sunset, in Skaneateles, on Skaneateles Lake.

I have so many memories of the Finger Lakes, as I journey through time and space.

    I have a former co-worker who grew up in the Finger Lakes area. She had wonderful stories to tell. I have often wanted to visit and really have no excuse not to make the trip.

    Ah, the Finger Lakes. I have been to most of them a few times. And, I've found a slew of other wonderful lakes around the US (and the world). Maybe it's just the water I love.

    I've always lived near water until I moved to the Midwest. It's my dream to get out of here and retire to a place of peace by the water.

    Not sure which lake I would like to visit here in North Idaho, only thing I know it would be cold.

    The finger lakes are beautiful! My ex had an Sunt and U clue who owned a cottage on the one lake which, if travelled straight down, you would be in Watkin's Glen
