It's been on and off rain here in upstate New York. In connection with the storms, we've had some beautiful sunsets from time to time.
Consider these after-sunset pictures, after a torrential downpour on Monday.
I took these pictures from several slightly different vantage points.
Framed by trees.
What a beautiful pink.

Gorgeous lilac sky!
ReplyDeleteThey keep promising torrential downpours and then the rain all moves away from us. I hand watered some plants last night, but if we don't get some rain soon I may have to turn on the hoses.
ReplyDeleteThe Sky is lovely and I like the pinks peeping through. As for #SkywatchFriday it is the first time I have heard of it but it sounds like a lot of fun. Have a wonderful day.
ReplyDeleteI fear I will be seeing lots of these today as I travel from DC to Newark. (At least if the meteorologist is more trustworthy than TheDonald.)
ReplyDeleteVery pretty!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week-end!
Oh yes, everything is so lovely after a good storm.
ReplyDeleteI love watching the clouds, especially before or after a storm. The last picture is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, I don't think I've ever seen a sky quite that color, but I guess storms can do that.
ReplyDeleteWe had torrential rainfall yesterday. Within seconds, I was completely drenched! Fortunately, I don't live near the Erie County fairgrounds, which was hit by a tornado! Two tornadoes were confirmed in southern Erie County and it made the national news.
ReplyDeleteAfter the storm everything looks prettier!
ReplyDeleteThere was a 20 minute period yesterday, here in Central NJ, where a storm came through. The sky was all sorts of shades of White, Greys, and then deep dark, almost Black! Nothing like your beautiful sky!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!! A little purple hue in there, too.
ReplyDeletegreat color or this sunset. :)
ReplyDeleteI have followed you as NF My world now ;)
