That Was The Year That Was

I've seen a couple of bloggers welcome 2021 with a "one blog post from each month" theme, and I've decided to do that today.

No need to read all the posts, but if one attracts you, it would be great for you to read at least one.

January - an innocent time when I could blog about yarn bombing I saw in a trip to Florida.  That was about a million years ago, now, the ability to travel without fear of catching a dread illness.

February - COVID makes its appearance and a cancelled road trip I have wanted to make for years.

March - at the end of March, things are serious in my native New York State.

April - it seemed everyone was deciding to garden.

May -  I couldn't see her in January and now I never will. RIP.

June - Please don't taste-test the cherries (especially in these times).

July -  Blueberries and a recipe (blueberry picking helped save my sanity)

August - Blueberries and another recipe

September - the Story Garden

October - Fall foliage, of course

November - No, you can't cancel Thanksgiving.  But you sure can change it.

December -  We could have done without 40 inches of snow.

What was the highlight (or lowlight) of 2020 for you?

  4. It was a strange year, so much fear and sadness. But I made two big changes in my life, a new job and a new apartment. 2021 is going to be a better year.
