Snow Prints #WordlessWednesday

The footprints are normally hidden.  We normally don't see footprints on village concrete, on village driveways.  But we do have secret visitors to the outsides of our homes.

But when it snows, it's a different matter.

Our visitors are revealed.

I wish I could have placed the camera closer but with my back and knee, I didn't dare.  These aren't clear enough for me to identify.

Cats? Rabbits? Raccoons?  I wonder who my secret winter visitors are.

Joining Sandee at Comedy Plus today for her #WordlessWednesday.

  1. When we see those, our heads go down, our noses kick into gear and we start tracking the critter.

  3. All I can say is: it's good that there are no traces of humans or large animals ...

    Happy Wordless Wednesday!

  4. I'm not good at tracks but it's exciting to know that some critter paid you a visit.

  5. It's a mystery! There are outside night/day cameras that can be mounted to see, I have one so I can see the opossums that visit and my friend has one to see the deer that visit at her place.

  6. Hi Alana - deer perhaps ... but yes snow-prints in the snow are lovely to see ... stay safe in the winter gloom and whatever it chucks down - all the best - Hilary

  7. Paw prints in the snow...those look like raccoon to me, but I am certainly not an expert.

  10. I suppose now you can 'see' that you have visitors. But probably they come anyway, so maybe in other moment you will succeed to make photos! But take care!
    Thank you and Happy WW!

  11. Too bad you can't set up some sort of time lapse camera or motion sensor camera to see.

  13. I've been seeing fresh rabbit prints for a few days. I love your photos of the "evidence" of a visitor.

  14. That is one reason I love snow! The top one looks like deer. But the bottom could be cats. Raccoons. I'm not sure. But so fun to have visitors!
