October Rose #WordlessWednesday

Snow covers the ground where I live in the Southern Tier of New York.

I scrolled through my phone photos, looking for some flowers to take the edge off of mid-winter.

From October 10, 2021, I found this lovely rose in bloom in a street meridian in Binghamton, New York.  Although it was fall,nothing says summer like a sweet, sweet rose.

    Some roses hang in there long past summer. I'm ready to see the flowers bloom soon. It's been a long winter.

    Roses always brighten the day. We have some cyclamen flowering in the garden, but that is all. The fields are a different story. They have snowdrops, daffodils and primroses in flower. Spring is on the way!
