If you are looking for my Music Moves Me post, please click here. If you've come here to find my A to Z Challenge Theme for 2022, you've come to the right place.
Before I reveal my 2022 Theme, some explanations of what this all is about.
I've taken the Blogging from A to Z Challenge every year since 2015.
How does the Blogging from A to Z Challenge work? Every April day (excepting Sundays) we blog about something according to the letters of the alphabet - A on April 1, B on April 2, and so forth. 26 days, 26 letters. The rules are simple - blog about something reflecting the letter of the day. Photos, artwork, fiction, non fiction, all are welcome. The challenge likes you to come up with 100 words per blog, but there are no word count police out there.
You don't have to make up your mind today. In fact, official signups for the A to Z don't start until March 30 and extend until April 10. In the meantime, from the official A to Z blog you can find the link to a spreadsheet of participants.
I've blogged daily since late April, 2011 (yes, for almost 11 years.) The visiting of other blogs is the hard part of A to Z for me. But it is also rewarding. That socialization is part of why I decided to go for it again.
I almost didn't join. I just wasn't feeling it this year. But here I am.
Wherever I go, I take pictures. Pictures of things. Quirky things. Historic things. Plants. Flowers. Sunsets. Graves of famous people.
Here are my past themes, and you can see a pattern here: I've admitted it before. I'm a photo hoarder. So all of my past themes have involved photos:2015: America the Beautiful
2016: Days of our Lives (no not the soap opera)
2017 - Traveling Through Time and Space
2018 - Florida Outside the Theme Parks (this may have been my favorite one)
2019 - Finding America Through Photos
2020 - America the Beautiful (I never realized I repeated my 2015 theme!)
2021: New York State
Now, in our most perilous of times, it is so easy to become depressed. We must fight that urge. It's so hard to believe in hope, but hope is what is going to keep us going. It took me a while to find my theme for 2022. I changed it several times. I hope you like what I chose.
And now, drum roll. Joining them is my 2022 theme:
From Florida to Vermont With Stops In Between
So I hope you will join me daily this April.
...Vermont sounds a lot more interesting to me than Florida.
ReplyDeleteNo worries, Tom. There will be several posts devoted to the Bennington, VT area.
DeleteNice theme. I look forward to seeing what you do with it
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteLove your topic this year. I don't think I'm going to have time to participate this year with my current work situation. I'm still keeping my fingers crossed that they will have it on Instagram too this year. I might be able to swing that.
ReplyDeletePlease don't stress, Martha. I'm a little surprised you find time to blog the way you do.
DeleteAlana,
ReplyDeleteYour theme sounds like a great mental get-away we all can enjoy during these uncertain times. Just when you feel like Covid is easing then other things shadow your mood but that is how life is a rollercoaster ride of ups and downs. Best of luck to you next month. I decided to take another run with the A2Z challenge as well. ;)
Best of luck to you also, Cathy, and I'll be by for sure!
DeleteI'll be looking forward to it! Photos are a big part of what keeps me coming back to any blog, and you always deliver!
ReplyDeleteWell, thank you, Lisa!
DeleteLooking forward to seeing your posts. I again am not officially doing it (I'm not going to have the mental bandwidth in April to do the visiting), but I'll be posting to the letter of the day. Good luck.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Liz, and I'll be by!
DeleteI really enjoyed your photos in the past, I am glad you are back! And it sounds like a fun theme :)
ReplyDeleteThe Multicolored Diary
Thank you so much!
DeleteI love travel and travel photography! I'll be interested to see your stories and photos.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much. I am most interested in your theme, too, partly due to my Eastern European ancestry.
DeleteSounds like a good theme! looking forward to it!
ReplyDeleteThanks, John.
DeleteWhat a fun theme! Travel & photography are 2 of my favorite things!
ReplyDeleteMore photography than travel, perhaps, but I hope you enjoy it!
DeleteShall learn more about USA. I follow industrial engineering departments of USA.
ReplyDeleteTheme revealed. A to Z - Activities, Competencies, Education and Training of Engineering Supervisors
Sounds like a great theme.
ReplyDeleteHello, Biggles here, from George's Guinea Pig World.
ReplyDeleteI haven't been to Florida or Vermont or anywhere in between. Maybe Mummy has. I'll ask her.
Good luck with your A to Z, pictures sound nice.
