Flowers in the Southern Tier of New York on New Year's Eve?
I went out in the back yard yesterday and was greeted with this.
I have an early white Lenten Rose. It usually blooms in January if the weather permits it, because sometimes we have a brief reprieve from the harshness of winter. But this year our reprieve came this past week.
Some years, this doesn't bloom at all. But I was fortunate enough to see its blooms yesterday.
