Oreo Yea or Nay #WordlessWednesday

It's Wordless Wednesday on a Tuesday!

Let's dig into  Oreo cookies: specifically, limited edition flavors. I blog about them from time to time.  I know Oreos can be found outside the United States so I hope you like the basic Oreo (chocolate cookie with white filling) wherever you live.

But there are two flavors I like even better than the original.  One of them has been brought back as a permanent Oreo flavor.  Time to celebrate!

First up, Reese's Oreos.  They are the iconic Oreo chocolate cookie with a filling made with Reese's peanut butter filling and chocolate Oreo crumbs.  I know many people outside the United States aren't big fans of peanut butter as a sweet (it's used in savory dishes, which I love also) but this American loves peanut butter. And these Reese's Oreo cookies score a 10 of 10 in my scoring.

Not from the United States?  No problem!  I would love your input, too.

Anyway, for this flavor, Yea or Nay?
The other is a limited edition flavor.  Again, I don't know how much outside the United States you can find these multi flavored ice pops , but these are vanilla cookies with a filling of lemon, raspberry, and cherry.  I haven't tried them yet.  Do they appeal to you?  Yea or nay?

Note, I may be late getting back to you but I will get back.

  1. I have not seen the Reese's one before, but the popsicle one I saw on Saturday. Yea or nay? I don't know. I would have to try them. But I won't go out of my way to buy them. If they fell into my path, I'd try them.

  3. As much as I generally like Oreo's, I'm glad the "Grandpa's Toe Fungus" version was a limited edition Oreo.

  5. Since I have been pre-diabetic for about 10 years now I no longer buy these cookies. I did decades ago, just the regular ones.
Thank you so much for sharing, Alana.
I hope you are having a great week.

  6. I haven't seen these Oreo varieties in Canada, but I like the original ones. Can't have peanuts or any other nuts, so I wouldn't try them, but I bet they're good. I developed this weird nut allergy in recent years (my skin breaks out - nothing like anaphylaxis) and used to enjoy Reese's Peanut Butter cups. We had those tri-colour popsicles too, but somehow, those flavours in an Oreo cookie don't seem too appealing.

  7. Never been a fan of oreos. The Foods that Built America on the History Channel recently did an episode on their creation. I'm a chocolate chip fan.

  8. Thank you for this presentation. We have also here. I tried them once, I did not liked them. Recipe, taste, colors, a little bit from all of them.
I can not tell now, because the moment was long time ago.But I may add that they look fun!
Happy WW, Alana! Enjoy everything you love!❤️😘

  9. Like Liz, above, if they fell into my lap, I'd try them, but otherwise not. Oreos are available in UK but I've never bought them.

  10. These days nothing is good enough and always needs to be better, but forcing original oreos to find these weird flavors is just strange. It is kind of who has the best new weird food.

  11. I have an Oreo addiction, which is why I don't ever go to the many varieties. The plain Oreo, or even better the Double Stuff, is enough to feed my addiction ten times over.

  12. Hubby loves Oreo cookies and I love Oreo ice cream. I would try the peanut butter ones. Sounds delicious and you gave them a 10. I'm looking for them the next time I go shopping.

Thank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. ♥

  13. Oh, now this is controversial! Ha ha. My son is allergic to peanut butter, and even though he's grown I tend to shy away from it still. That's silly I guess, I would try the PB one - chocolate & peanut butter is a fantastic combo. I would never try the pops, they could be good the flavor just doesn't temp me.

  14. I agree with Tom - it's hard to improve on the original.

  15. Just the regular Oreos for me! Not even double stuffed. My mother used to buy Hydrox, wich I liked better, but aren't around here any more. I wonder why people liked the later Oreos better? I only buy Oreos when they are on a really, really good sale!

  16. I've never seen these flavors but my daughter just had me try a Matcha flavored Oreo and I didn't care for it at all. I don't like Matcha.

  17. I don't think I'd what to try the popsicle one but the reese's oreos sound great. I love peanut butter.

  18. Did you know they make gluten free Oreos. Just the regular ones, golden ones and the chocolate cookie with mint creme. Bu I wish they’d make a gluten free version with peanut butter.

  19. I live in Denmark, and I like the golden Oreo's best. Nothing whatsoever with peanutbutter for me, please, but I'd give the lemonade flavoured ones a try.

  20. IDK where my comment went, lol. I think PB & chocolate is a fantastic combination, I would try these. The ice pop flavors don't intrigue me tho.
