Skywatch Friday - July Sunset

This is a sunset from earlier this week.

We have had changeable weather where I live in upstate New York.  We've also had a couple of lovely sunsets.  It's that time of year.

The sky colors through the trees.

The sky starts to glow.
And a final shot.

  1. These photos remind me of a sunset I encountered when driving home from Philly. The actual sighting was breathtaking- but the photos didn't quite capture the grandeur.

  6. I love watching the sunset. I was fascinated a month or so ago when my entire sky turned purple as the sun set. Didn't show on the camera very well though.
