The leaves are returning to the trees. Right now, where I live in the Binghamton, New York area, the Bradford Pears are fading but the crabapples are starting to take center stage.
In some ways, the flowers of spring and how they color the trees are just as pretty as the fall foliage leaf season.
Last night, it wasn't the most stunning of sunsets, but that's OK.
Having the leaves back makes it all worthwhile.

We back up to woods and although it's pretty a few times in the winter when snow settles on the tree branches, I absolutely love this time of year when the leaves and the flowers and the berries start to return.
