It's February 2 and, sometime this morning, we'll find out if we are going to have six more weeks of winter, or an early spring. That is, if you believe that a groundhog can predict the weather.
If you want to find out more about Groundhog Day, you are welcome to read this post from 2017.
And oh, the groundhog saw its shadow. Six weeks more of winter!

...the pandemic is like the movie "Groundhog Day!"
ReplyDeleteAlana,
ReplyDeleteIs that one of Phil's cousins running around there? We have Grady Groundhog who lives in the wooded area behind our house. Sometimes, he'll come down into the yard. Our security cameras have picked him up and one year I was able to snap a photo of him but haven't been lucky since that time. Here's to six more weeks of winter! Happy Groundhog Day!! XO
They are murder in a garden. I'm with you on that and I've never thought they were cute.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. ♥
The one day this pesky little rodent is more than pesky. Except when he gives us what he gave us today. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteWhat will be ~ will be as they say ~ Great post and photo for Ground Hog Day ~ Xo

ReplyDeletesorry the groundhogs are destructive but yeah I do think they're cute
ReplyDeleteWhy am I not surprised there'll be six more weeks of winter?
ReplyDeleteGroundhogs have probably occupied that land for generations and the fact that it is now your garden does not stop them from using it.
ReplyDeleteTry growing a garden just for them! Watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SNdts2P-djg
ReplyDeleteWell... that is the question, isn't it? Carol C
