More Toothpick Art #WordlessWednesday

Ready for some more toothpick art?

On a recent visit to the Eastview Mall in Victor, New York (a suburb of Rochester) I saw an exhibit of toothpick art from a local artist, Stan Munro.  Here's my first post, further explaining the art.

Here are a couple of more selections for this Wordless Wednesday.  Yes, this art is made from toothpicks - thousands of them.  Would you have the patience?

  3. Wow, that would be a lot of work. We stayed in Victor last September when we were visiting relatives in Rochester. No time for museums or anything as it was a whirlwind trip.

  6. No, I wouldn't have that patience! I have much, much, simpler things that have been unfinished for years.

  7. Wow. These must have taken ages to finish, and put in a safe place so no cats or dogs could start demolishing them. Can you imagine if they were almost finished, and ran out of toothpicks? Yikes. As the others have commented, projects like this take lots of creativity, a humongous amount of patience....and every toothpick in town. Thanks for sharing.

  9. These are so wonderfully creative and detailed. I remember the last one's you shared too, Alana.

Yesterday I was eating Pistachios and was mildly inspired to repurpose the shells. I remember seeing someone make a beautiful frame of stunning art once, with those shells.

    Have a good weekend, Alana.
