Bear with Me #WordlessWednesday

The friend I call my guest photographer looked out her window the other day and saw this:

Stretch....

No, it wasn't Yogi Bear.

Bears are commonly seen in the countryside here in the Southern Tier of New York, and sometimes  in urban areas.  Years ago, another friend once saw a bear while walking in her neighborhood.  Fortunately the bear did not approach her.

I am having a dental procedure today, so I may not respond to you right away.  But I will.

Joining Sandee at Comedy Plus for her #WordlessWednesday.

  4. I love all wildlife. I would love to see this cutie pie, but from a distance.

    Good luck at the dentist.

  7. That would be scary, right outside your window! Thankfully, we don't see bears here in Suburbia. Coyotes, on the other hand, are a real menace. Hope all goes well with your dental procedure!

  8. That is amazing and it is a good looking bear. Often times the ones who come into residential areas are scrappy looking.

  9. We have bears in town, in residential neighborhoods, every so often. They are usually in trees, probably trying to get away. Once a cub wandered into a Rite Aid.
Hope your dental work went well and painfree.

  10. Bears always look so cuddly. Good thing I don't live somewhere near them or I would probably die trying to pet them. I hope the dental procedure goes well.

  11. Nice pictures. I've been to a lot of wild places but I've never actually encountered a bear in any of them. Perhaps they saw me first.
